L-Arginine and NO

I know right??

For those of you that know me, I used to be a fitness freak who’d think nothing of running a marathon or “banging out” a 30 Miler.

But that’s when I needed to be fit….. you see my previous life saw me in some of the most dangerous environments in the world. Working as a close protection officer, body guard, Anti-Piracy Specialist and Soldier.

I used to be a Royal Marines Commando, and if you believed the adverts (which we did) had to undergo the most arduous training course for any combat unit in NATO.

32 grueling weeks in fact, testing our bodies to the very limits. And what's more as hard as it was, it failed to live up to the realities of life in an operational Commando unit. 17 hour patrol’s in 40+ heat, carrying 120lbs (and getting shot at).

However, that was a long time ago…….3 kids and 28lbs in fact, so Imagine the pride I had to swallow when I decided to hit the gym again, only to find muscle memory doesn’t make up for 9 years of abuse :-)

We’re all busy right?

It’s hard to describe the level arrogance you have when you spend your whole life working at the “Top of your Game”. When your body has been conditioned to operate in the most hostile environments and perform some of the most physically demanding tasks around, you start to take it for granted.

Injuries are rare when you’re conditioned, notice I said injuries and not accidents. I have fallen down cliffs, being involved in 120 mph skydiving accidents, car crash(es), and more without breaking any bones… Your body goes primal, operating comfortably on 3 hours sleep, laughing at 48 hour days and able to go a week without food whilst still keeping a smile on your face.

Reality check though

You need to keep on top of that shit. The moment you let your regime slip, it can take a turn for the worse, injuries lead onto more injuries which lead to rehab and….you get the rest.

That’s when all the excuses come out; Tired, Old, Run Down (insert here)

So I decided to do some research and that’s when I stumbled on a miracle molecule!!

L-Argininge

What is Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate

Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate is a compound that is made up of two amino acids, arginine and alpha-ketoglutarate. It is often used by athletes and people looking to improve their overall health. Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate has many potential benefits, including increased muscle mass, reduced fatigue, and improved recovery times. Additionally, it may also help protect the body against free radicals.

How does Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate help improve your workout?

This compound has many potential benefits for athletes and people looking to improve their overall health. It can help increase muscle mass, reduce fatigue, and improve recovery times. Additionally, it may also help protect the body against free radicals.

The human brain is an amazing organ. It’s capable of generating new ideas, analyzing data, and making decisions in a fraction of a second. But it can only do this if it’s healthy and functioning properly. And like all organs, the brain needs the right kind of fuel to stay healthy and perform at its best.

That’s where nutrition comes in. The foods you eat have a direct impact on your brain health and function. So if you want to keep your brain sharp and clearheaded, you need to make sure you’re eating the right kinds of foods.

Arginine helps to improve performance and has been found to increase muscle mass which, in turn, helps increase strength and power. Additionally, it may also help reduce fatigue.

You see, your body uses Arginine, an Amino Acid we absorb from food, to produce Nitric Oxide (NO), which is a molecule that helps increase blood flow to muscles.

This allows for more oxygen and nutrients to reach your muscles, help them recover after a workout, and provide additional energy so you can go harder in your next workout session. This process is known as the ‘MUSCLE-PUMP’ and it drives nutrient-rich blood

Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate also has the ability to improve recovery times after intense exercise. The combination of these benefits can help increase sports performance for athletes, in both short and long term periods. It may also be able to provide health benefits when undergoing intense training, similar to how it is used in healthy adults who are not athletes.

This miracle molecule is believed to be able to increase the body’s ability to produce growth hormone when taken either before or after intense exercise. This compound has been shown in studies to have the ability to raise levels of IGF-1, which can help reduce fatigue and improve recovery times for people working out.

Great!! Lets get some supplements

I soon noticed though, when looking for a product that contains Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate, it is important to do your research.

Not all products are created equal

Countless times I was burnt, most of the products may be of a lower quality and may not provide the same benefits as a higher-quality product and some may have more benefits than others. It is important to find a product that is high quality and that contains the right dosage of Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate.

After many trials and limited success I discovered “The Pink Drink”

It’s the only Pre-Digested Nutritional Arginine product that converts to Nitric Oxide within a short period of time (20 minutes) of drinking it, that I could find

It has an exclusive Arginine Alpa-Ketagluterate Delivery System, which I learnt was developed and designed after 30 years of tests, trials and case studies and on the back of Nobel Prize Winning Science.

It is important to make sure any product is safe to use and that it has been tested by a third party. You also want to make sure that there are no fillers or artificial additives in the product and that the ingredients used in the product have been tested for purity. Which is why I could rely on this, with FCA approval, independent testing and countless studies into its applications — I took the plunge

1 month in and I am surprised at the results…..
